Holiday Closing Notice

F&M Bank will close at 12pm on December 24th and will remain closed on December 25th and 26th as our employees celebrate Christmas. Our offices will also close early at 2pm on December 31st and will remain closed on January 1st in observance of the Near Year. From our family to yours, we wish you a happy holiday season! 

On January 5, 2021, you will have a new online and mobile banking experience, which will include transaction tagging, card management, enhanced search tools, remember me functionality, and more!

Congratulations, Jackie!

Please, join us in congratulating Jackie Burner on her upcoming retirement on December 31st. Jackie has been part of the F&M Bank family since 2013 and currently serves as the Bridgewater Branch Manager.

As Jackie retires, Ashley McClure, Assistant Branch Manager, will assume the Branch Manager role. Ashley has been with F&M Bank since 2011 when she joined the team as a part-time teller. As you see Ashley, please help us congratulate her as well!

During November, we talked with Andrea Dono, Executive Director of the Harrisonburg Downtown Renaissance, to discuss how HDR partnered with businesses and organizations to adapt to COVID's impact on Harrisonburg's local economy.

We also finished up our conversation with Courtney Thompson, CEO & President of the Greater Augusta Regional Chamber of Commerce, to learn how networking has changed during COVID. 

Watch for Fraud this Holiday Season

Fraudsters are always at work, but financial institutions experience increased fraudulent activity during the holidays. This year is no exception. The pandemic created new opportunities for fraudsters, and paired with holiday scams, our customers are reporting increased fraud this season.

Throughout the month of November, employees donated $200 to the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank. We hope you don't mind our dress down days as they are for a good cause!
